As part of the Sian Watson-Taylor residency, children from Ashmount School and Ellesmere College visited the Attenborough Arts Centre to explore the exhibition: Laura Swanson and Claude Cahun – Beneath this mask
They session aimed to:
- Develop participants’ confidence: In a new setting (Attenborough Arts Centre) and with Contemporary Art.
- To observe, engage and respond to the exhibition to develop an understanding of Contemporary Art.
- To increase and deepen knowledge and skills (social, life, practical and creative).
- Provide the young people with a chance to achieve a recognised qualification and contribute to their relevant Arts Award portfolios.
